When looking for a way to map golf courses for the new GPS sprayer controls coming out 10 years ago, I stumbled upon Graham Pope at GeoOptic. Turned out that they had all of the mapping capability we needed and had already started mapping golf courses for the architects. This was a new application and it needed some tweaking, but Graham was very helpful and willing to learn what needed to be done. Being an avid golfer helped as he knew what to expect on the courses. Creating accurate maps for use with GPS driven equipment will keep growing and having a great service like GeoOptic GIS mapping will be essential.
